Omu Labs is building a new AI venture platform focused on turning AI infrastructure into real commercial outcomes.
We operate across two connected business lines:
1. AI Token & Product Resale
Omu Labs is an authorized reseller of BytePlus AI products.
We help companies adopt and consume advanced AI products, including:
- Seedream for AI image generation
- Seedance for AI video generation
- Other BytePlus AI products and APIs
Our role is not only to introduce the product, but to drive real AI token consumption, usage growth, and long-term commercial accounts.
2. AI App Launchpad
Omu Labs is building an AI App Launchpad for innovative and viral B2C AI applications.
We support promising app builders by funding AI token usage and helping them scale faster.
In return, Omu Labs participates through commercial upside such as revenue share, usage growth, or strategic partnership models.
The goal is to back high-potential consumer AI apps where AI infrastructure cost is a major growth bottleneck.
The Role
We are hiring a Founding Account Executive to drive growth across North America and Latin America.
This is a hunter role.
You are expected to aggressively build pipeline, originate deals, and close opportunities across AI token resale, BytePlus product adoption, and AI App Launchpad partnerships.
No inbound. No hand-holding.
What You Will Do
1. Market Ownership
- Build pipeline across North America and Latin America
- Identify companies and builders with strong AI usage potential
- Engage founders, operators, agencies, app developers, and enterprise buyers
- Follow American time zones regardless of remote location
2. Hunting & Deal Creation
- Run outbound across email, LinkedIn, communities, referrals, and partner networks
- Create opportunities where none exist
- Drive urgency and deal momentum
- Convert early interest into active commercial discussions
You are expected to:
- Be hungry for hunting
- Operate with strong commercial instinct
- Push deals forward independently
- Close without relying on brand recognition or inbound demand
3. BytePlus Product Sales
You will drive adoption of BytePlus AI products, including:
- Seedream
- Seedance
- Other BytePlus AI products and APIs
You are expected to:
- Position BytePlus products clearly to AI builders and businesses
- Identify customers with meaningful AI usage potential
- Convert product interest into token consumption
- Nurture accounts toward higher recurring usage
4. AI Token Consumption Deals
A key part of this role is to build and nurture AI token consumption accounts.
You will:
- Source customers with recurring AI infrastructure needs
- Structure commercial discussions around usage volume
- Track and grow token consumption
- Build long-term relationships with high-usage accounts
Success is not only closing the first deal.
Success is growing AI consumption over time.
5. AI App Launchpad Partnerships
You will also help drive Omu Labsβ AI App Launchpad.
This includes:
- Sourcing innovative B2C AI apps
- Identifying apps with viral potential
- Engaging founders and indie builders
- Structuring launchpad-style partnerships
Typical model:
- Omu Labs supports AI token usage
- App builders focus on product and growth
- Omu Labs participates in upside through revenue share or other commercial structures
6. Full-Cycle Closing
- Run outbound β discovery β demo β proposal β close
- Manage stakeholders across regions
- Own pricing, packaging, and negotiation
- Close independently
Who This Role Is For
Non-negotiable
- Fluent in English
- Able to consistently work American time zones
- Strong hunter mindset and high outbound discipline
- Proven track record in outbound-heavy sales roles
- Comfortable selling AI products, APIs, or non-standard commercial models
- High ownership, high urgency, and strong follow-through
Strong Advantage
- Experience selling AI, SaaS, APIs, developer tools, or cloud services
- Familiarity with usage-based, consumption-based, or token-based pricing
- Exposure to North America and/or Latin America markets
- Network among AI app builders, agencies, creators, or startup founders
- Ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
Performance Expectations
This is a high-accountability role.
- Target: 6β8x OTE in closed revenue
- Heavy outbound focus
- Fully self-generated pipeline
- Weekly performance tracking
You are expected to:
- Build repeatable outbound motion
- Drive BytePlus product adoption
- Grow AI token consumption
- Source Launchpad opportunities
- Close early flagship accounts
Compensation
- OTE: To be discussed
- Structure: 50% base / 50% commission
- Accelerators for over-performance
- Founding AE upside
Growth Path
Top performers will:
- Own North America / Latin America strategy
- Build local sales teams
- Influence product and pricing strategy
- Lead AI token resale and Launchpad expansion
What Success Looks Like (6β12 Months)
- 3β5 flagship AI token consumption accounts closed
- BytePlus Seedream / Seedance adoption driven in target markets
- Strong pipeline of AI App Launchpad candidates
- Repeatable outbound playbook established
- Clear high-potential customer segments identified
